We've been walking around the neighborhood in the evenings. It's been such a mild summer. We haven't even hit the high 90's this year. (Now that I have said that, we will.) It's just so nice to walk in the cool of the evening with other believers and talk with our Lord. It makes me love where I live.

We've had a marvelous summer here as well, we've been pretty much in the 80's, a few times we've hit 90 or 91 degrees which is nothing compared to the scorching heat (and drought) we've had for 4-5 yrs.
That's extremely unusual for TX. I lived in Marshall TX. most of my teen yrs.
It was SO, SO hot and sticky - I hated it !!

nothing like it!! yep its been rather cool in GA too...its been so cloudy and dreary! but now that its Aug I expect hot and 90's...its only Aug 2 and already 2 days in a row of 90s...:)

Haven't done much walking with saints lately, but I have had the privilege of working with some.
I work at a Christian school, where it is nice to be surrounded with brothers and sisters throughout the day.
There are some that I "connect" more with than others, but all in all, it is Christ.
